Pitch’s House_by Inaqui Carnicero

For a private client, the spanish architect Iñaqui Carnicero imagined this Pitch’s House, located in Los Peñascales, a small neighborhood of Madrid boundaries. Built on a slope, the house integrates two stones of the environment, one structurally at the entrance and the other formally on the ground level. The dwelling shares three floors. Sheltering the rooms, the first one is opened by windows heightening 140cm. The main volume, recessed, hosts the dining room, the living and the kitchen. On the same plan than the swimming pool and the patios, it completes them thanks to its sliding picture window. Lastly, on the underground, the hall and the utility rooms. Concrete, granite or calcareous stones are the main materials of the house that benefits of an incredible view to the mounts El Pardo.
